• Unit: m³ of approved hard-material excavation.
• Ground classification and measured quantities require confirmation before work.
• Method may include mechanical breaking or specialist equipment suited to access and ground conditions.
• Identify vibration limits, buried services and working-space restrictions.
• Confirm how the extra-over allowance interacts with the base excavation rate to avoid double charging.

Scope and exclusions

Blasting, special permits, dewatering, traffic management, cartage and disposal are excluded unless specifically quoted. Mobilisation and minimum plant charges may apply.
