Road Signage Africa (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
1. Information we collect
- Details you give us: name, company, email, phone number, billing and delivery or site address, VAT and registration numbers, and what you need (quotes, orders, chats, call-back requests, uploaded plans or photos).
- Order and payment information: items ordered, amounts and payment references. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers.
- Website use: pages visited, device and browser details, and cookies that keep the cart and site working.
2. Why we use it
- To prepare quotes, process orders, deliver, install and invoice.
- To answer questions in our chat, by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- To keep records required by law, such as tax records.
- To send occasional updates and offers, only where you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Our AI assistant
Our website chat uses an AI service to answer questions and prepare estimates. Messages you type and the contact details you give are processed to reply to you and are shared with our team. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat.
4. Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, payment provider, couriers and email services, and our group company where needed to fulfil your order. We never sell your information.
5. How long we keep it
Only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and to meet legal and accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Security
We use secure connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers to protect your information.
7. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, object to its use, or withdraw consent for marketing. Email info@roadsignageafrica.co.za. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforeg.org.za.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for the cart, checkout and security, and simple statistics to improve the site. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site may not work.
