Technical specification
- Unit: m³ of excavation under the project measurement rules.
- Confirm hole dimensions, depth, ground classification and underground service clearances.
- Specify approved backfill type, layer thickness and compaction requirements.
- Site access, manual versus mechanical methods, spoil handling and traffic accommodation affect the quotation.
- A site assessment is required before a fixed rate is issued.
Scope and exclusions
Hard rock, cement treatment, concrete, dewatering, disposal charges and mobilisation are excluded unless expressly included. These may be separate BOQ items.
